You guys check out the new launcher yet?
http://launcher.station.sony.com/
I can sign in and all, and use the friends feature, however, I haven't been able to actually launch SWG from it. It does have a nice switch from SWG to TC though, and is able to be setup to auto download updates for each.
One problem I found was that the friends section lists all of my characters, every single one I have ever made. I have over 240 listed and no one to get rid of them that I can see. It is nice to be able to talk to people in-game without having to sign on, though.
Also, if you use it, go into Help - Credits. It's great! |

It's pretty interesting. I can't get it to actually launch a game either.
Also, it says my EQ2 acct is active until Nov 4th or so, but I can't get it to update the game (and can't find my stupid discs anywhere... argh!). Keeps failing to download the same couple files and aborting.
If all of this is ironed out while it's in beta, it'll be a pretty cool piece of software linking all the SOE games together. |

True.
Though I hear there are a few bugs in which it thinks people actually have accounts to other games and will allow them to download full versions and create toons (like on Matrix). The devs on the forums pretty much said: congrats you got a free account. |
