I have, and still am, running tests. But, I have discovered a way to actually wear armor, and have the armor values that come with it. I have found that while a profession that CAN wear armor

Wearing ANY piece (or suit) of armor will:
Lower your Lightsaber damage per second (DPS) is dropped considerably.
Still give you armor bonuses (right now, Sensei' has a current Energy protection of 5386 and Kinetic protection of 4070).

There really is no upside to a Jedi wearing armor. The DPS of any lightsaber is lowered by 4x or so. It's probably not possible to reach 7k resists without buffs. Also, there are no sockets on looted armor, so it won't be good for anything except show.
_+_+_+_+_+_
Screenshots:
Intrest is sparked. Joodoo has a couple of looted armor that he wears and stays on after transfer of professions.
Had Joodoo try it out real quick. Jedi Armor Bug = Confirmed here.
Though while sparked with past joy, I still went on to test this with some NPC's.
-NPC test 2
-NPC test 3
Combat log of Lightsaber Damage against Combat Level 28 NPC's (non-elite)

If anyone else has anything to add, I would like to add it to my report.

Thanks,
Estep
